WHO QualityRights e-training on mental health

WHO鈥檚 QualityRights initiative aims to improve the quality of care in mental health and related services and to promote the rights of people with psychosocial and intellectual disabilities.

The associated QualityRights e-training, available in 11 languages, including English, Spanish and French, covers: taking care of one鈥檚 own mental health; supporting friends, family and colleagues with their mental health; tackling stigma, discrimination, abuse and coercion in mental health services; and taking action in support of transformation of mental health services towards a person-centred, rights-based recovery approach. 

The training has been developed for a wide variety of groups, including people involved in making decisions about mental health care provision, those who provide mental health care and psychosocial support, and people who have received or are receiving support for their mental health.

Impact of the training

WHO would love to hear how the training has made a positive impact in your workplace, community or country, for example through the launch of an advocacy campaign, a nationwide training initiative, the transformation of a mental health service or even policy reform.
