海角社区 is using a combined approach to data collection, based on data submitted by countries in the Americas on weekly basis or collected through official websites. In the future, data will include information reported by countries through the joint 海角社区-WHO/UNICEF electronic Joint Immunization Data Reporting Form (eJRF).
How often is the information updated?
The dashboard is updated twice a week every Wednesday and Friday.
Why is this data important, and how can it be used?
This data is important because it helps paint a detailed picture of COVID-19 vaccine coverage in each country of the Americas. Countries can then use this data to help them inform COVID-19 vaccine activities and actions to reach everyone, everywhere.
